Vernon Woodward grew up in Kent and started gigging as a
teenager. Leaving school he began writing and recording his
own material and was signed to a major publishing deal with
Carlin Music. This led to a recording and production deal
with Nigel Wright (the Music Director of UK's ITV1 hit show
"X Factor") which helped him develop a broad and
commercial production style. This collaboration helped to
develop his production and arranging skills that, as well
as serving him in the studio, gave him the opportunity to
tour as a musical director in his own right. His diversity
in writing has led him to having top 20 Club hits in Germany,
to top 10 hits in the European Country charts. Taking a break
from touring with various bands led him into production music. He
has a vast amount of TV credits from his library catalogue
including Match Of The Day, The Bill, Eastenders, Hollyoaks,
Blue Peter, GMTV, as well as radio commercials and Foreign
films. He has recently been writing and producing for a new
act signed to Polydor, and has just completed writing and
producing all the tracks on the Dance Xtreme DVD for the BBC
winners of Dance X
